Call for proposal of Short Courses

Dear Remote Sensing and Geotechnologies Community

We are pleased to invite you to submit proposals for organizing Short Courses to be offered at the XIX Brazilian Symposium on Remote Sensing (SBSR). These Short Courses should aim at disseminating techniques used in the processing, analysis and interpretation of remote sensing data, focusing on issues with broad scientific interest. Short Courses must prioritize the latest advances in the field, training preferentially on applications relevant for a wider public.

For the XIX SBSR 2019, the submission process for Short Courses must also inform the title, coordinator, monitors and/or instructors (maximum 2). It is required to inform if the Short Course is theoretical or practical, including the demand for computers and access to the internet. Short Courses duration will be limited to eight hours (one day), which will be on 04/14/2019 (Sunday).

The contribution of the national and international community is essential for the XIX SBSR 2019 to communicate the main advances and the state-of-the-art related to the multidisciplinary themes of interest for the community.

Therefore, we invite all scientists to submit proposals for organizing Short Courses for the XIX SBSR 2019. Submission deadline is July 31, 2018.

Submissions must be sent by e-mail to: [email protected].

We are counting on you to actively engage with this activity of the XIX SBSR!

Best wishes,

SBSR Coordination
